About Alexis Li

Alexis is a duel citizen, US and EU, born in Charlotte, North Carolina with frequent visits to family in Holland or summers in France. He went to high school at the International School of Amsterdam and concentrated in film at the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico.

Pursuing a career in film, Alexis worked in Miami, Montreal, and Santa Fe, with the longest stints in Los Angeles and New York, accumulating to a 15 year career behind the camera as a member of Local 600 on award winning television and feature film productions.

Between film projects Alexis invested in real estate, acquiring, renovating, and finally managing these properties as vacation rentals. These projects amounted to three properties in Santa Fe, Woodstock, and Rhinebeck. Each rental was very successfully, garnering stellar reviews, ”superhost” status, and were recognized in Time Out NY, Pure Wow, and HGTV.

After the birth of his daughter, Alexis embraced the tight-knit historic Dutch community of Rhinebeck in the Hudson Valley to pursue real estate where he quickly rose to the ranks of Associate Broker with many designations. Well suited to help city buyers navigate a home purchase with his keen knowledge of the area and rich resources from managing and operating vacation rentals on both sides of the Hudson River. He was also able to provide his sellers his impeccable real estate photography and marketing skills on his listings, a majority of which broke record sales prices!

Alexis currently spends his time between NYC and the Hudson Valley.

In his free time he enjoys composing images through his many lenses, riding his vintage BMW motorcycle, cooking, and mornings with Yoga Tim. He also enjoys reading, preferably in nature or a new locale, as well as constantly exploring new areas including searching for local swimming holes! Feel free to reach out, he’s a social fella.
